Restaurant Kneina’s Story

Our restaurant was founded in 2022. Its name comes from the Georgian word for descendent of the royal family. The house where you are right now once belonged to Leila who was our grandmother. The property is still in the family serving as a symbol of connection between generations creating a sense of belonging and hospitality.

On the lower floor of the restaurant you can see a display of archeological findings made here including a 300 year old bakery and other historical things like 19 th century map, 18 th century sword, Beside it, you’ll find fragments of ceramics that span more then 600 years of history.
